As the calendar turns, it’s time to prepare and start thinking about what lies ahead. For Athletic Trainers, March is comingquickly and March equals National Athletic Training Month. This year’s theme is “Athletic Trainers Save Lives.” It is important for us to promote the profession and our knowledge and skill on a daily and weekly basis, but the month of March provides us the opportunity to really reach out to our communities both in society and the medical communities around us.

Big Hits; Broken Dreams

CNN Reports: Big Hits, Broken Dreams.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a practicing neurosurgeon and most well-known for his reporting on CNN will be hosting a one hour special on concussions this Sunday at 8pm EST. Please tune in as he follows a high school team in North Carolina throughout the 2011 football season. Below is the trailer…


Still got that kettlebell handy? If not, go find it and get it out. Another week and another kettlebell exercise. This week’s installment of Exercise of the Week is the Turkish Get Up. Last week we learned the half-get up and this week we’re going all the way!
