This question has come up numerous times on the web and in the news. President Obama says “he’d have to think long and hard” about his (nonexistent) son playing football. Where do I stand?

First of all, as I’m sure many of you have read before I am very particular to tell my readers and my athletes/parents/coaches that concussions are not a football problem. They aren’t. They are an issue in basically all sports. And I really think it’s about time we recognize that as a society. But today’s post will focus on football since it is the one with the most criticism.

  2. A major factor in orthopedic injury is previous injury.
  3. Emergencies occur at the youth level too!
